BackTBFREE Celebrates Madiba’s 67 minutes
On Saturday 18 July 2009, Nelson Mandela celebrated his 91st birthday. In honour of his life and legacy South Africa celebrated the first official Mandela Day.
This day represents the global call to action for each person to dedicate 67 minutes of their time to transform the world into a better place.
The 67 minutes are symbolic of the 67 years that Nelson Mandela dedicated to transforming the world into a better place.
TBFREE teamed up with Khomanani HBC (Home Based Care) in Katlehong, east of Johannesburg to give of their time by dishing up soup and goodie bags to the elderly.
