The TBFREE centre in Limpopo proudly welcomes you. Thank you for joining us in the fight against TB.Because every breath counts!
TBFREE Limpopo started operating in June 2006 in Mopani, Capricorn and recently Waterberg District Municipalities.
Since its inception the centre has trained 2424 DOT Supporters; who have been trained through TBFREE’s HWSETA (Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority) accredited manual, which is rated NQF (National Qualifications Authority) level 1 and carries 3 credits for each learner who successfully completes the training.
The DOT supporters are linked to various clinics in the province and are responsible for observing and supporting TB patients to adhere to their regime. The DOT Supporters are also intensely involved with the various TB awareness and social mobilization campaigns.
