Partnerships

Diseases that afflict wide sections of a population are social problems for which sustainable solutions can only be found in partnerships. Through the Aventis Foundation, Sanofi Aventis committed a total of € 14.27 million from 2003 to break the vicious cycle of disease and poverty. This project is being implemented in close cooperation with the South African national and provincial Departments of Health

Saving lives is the responsibility of not only the medical community, but also the governmental and non-governmental organizations. Everyone will win from working together and contributing the expertise and resources required solving the tuberculosis problem in South Africa.

TBFREE is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the reduction of TB morbidity and mortality and its consequential socio-economic impact in South Africa.
